The star anise is not only a beautiful design form, it also brings the flavorful punch of licorice to foods, and is a natural antiviral used for medicinal purposes.  Spiritually, it is believed to clear negative energy. Sapphires are revered around the world for their incredible color, brilliance and strength; they are also a native stone to India.
