Fruit of the Vine Gold Earrings with Pearls

Hand-cut brass earrings dipped in 18 karat gold, with a woven design set inside a round frame and a single  pearl dangling from the bottom. They measure 1.2 inches, not counting the ear wires, and have just enough movement to catch the light.

These earrings were inspired by the vines that grow all around our jewelry studio in Kolkata, India. When you cut back a vine, it grows back even stronger, a fitting image for the women who make this jewelry.
