Hand Block-Printed Silk Scarf - Paisley
A long silk scarf, 20 by 80 inches, hand block-printed with a paisley pattern. The length makes it easy to wear several ways: draped loose, wrapped around the neck, or worn as a shawl over the shoulders.
The paisley motif, known in India as buta, has been part of Indian textiles for centuries and became famous around the world through Kashmir shawls. Each scarf is designed and printed by survivors at a shelter in Kolkata, India. Block printing is a complex and highly respected craft that was traditionally done only by men. Mastering it gives the women a skill they can be proud of and a fair wage to build their futures on. Because every scarf is printed by hand, small variations in the pattern are part of what makes each one unique. Also available in Mosaic and Navy and Gold.

Scarves that give back
These scarves are designed and printed by women who have survived trafficking and are rebuilding their lives through skilled, fairly paid work. 100% of profits go to the women and girls in our programs, supporting survivors of trafficking and girls at risk in India, Nepal, and Kenya through education, shelter, and safe employment.
